a barebones six-stage touhou fangame for the nes/famicom about therapy sessions on the subway and feeling small in the big city. first attempt at making a game on the nes. some shameless soew ripoffs in here, be warned. written in nesfab in a week or so for bullet hell jam 7. come play it (and other touhou retro homebrew) on real hardware at touhoufest 2026

tsukumogami have been disappearing from the human village, seemingly pulled through a buzzing rift behind kourindou, into a place that is definitely not gensokyo. shinmyomaru follows them through.

she comes out the other side onto a grimy platform. loud iron caterpillars screaming by, exhausted humans rushing by that can't see -- the times square mezzanine. by gripping her miracle mallet, with it's tsukumogami-adjacent powers, she can tell where the buzzing is coming from and follows it through the boroughs and below grand central station, determined to find its source
